RESEARCH TRIANGLE, NC -- The North Carolina Biotechnology Center has approved loans to four biotech start-ups totaling $350,000. Two of the loans were research and development loans in the amount of $150K each and the two others were for business development. The companies receiving the loans were Addrenex, Teotten, BioMedonics and Axitare. The Biotech Center is a private, non-profit, state-supported organization that seeks to support the biotech industry in North Carolina.
